If the clues are symmetrical (either vertically, horizontally, or even both), the image will be symmetrical, no? And isn't studying the clues part of the solve? Hence logical?#8: David Howard (dlhoward) on Jan 19, 2021
Bill, the clues can be symmetrical without the solution being symmetrical. An easy example is a chessboard. All clues in both columns and rows will be 1 1 1 1. Completely symmetrical. But the solution is not. And, in fact, there's no way to logically solve that puzzle...
