Crack the whip! Not a great image, but a little bit of a challenge to solve, I think.

Finding yourself unexpectedly grabbed as the last person in a crack the whip and then just as unexpectedly let go could be a truly terrifying moment.

Which reminds me of when this happened to a friend of mine. When she was let go she lost her balance and as she was falling she desperately reached out and grabbed something. When she came to rest she looked up to see what she had grabbed. It was the fly on a pair of jeans belonging to a guy who was a total stranger.

First time out of a ski lift, my friend felt insecure so he held the pants of the man in front of him and in the process left him mooning us.
I still cry of laughter when I remember this.
