Yeah--first time I've been first to get it right. Did you mean the tree or Ohio State?

Because of March Madness, it's Ohio State.

I was thinking doe-eyes... except ofc, it's not a female. buckeyes never even crossed my mind, though it's totally obvious now

I love eating those peanut butter and chocolate buck-eyes.:)

Fun! I didn't guess it, but I enjoyed the puzzle and comments.

I always wondered "what is a buckeye" so I looked it up. I didn't know it was a peanut-butter-chocolate candy that looks like the nut of the buckeye tree (the official state tree of Ohio). It's also a chicken and a butterfly, among other things.

Thanks Teresa. And thanks for the info. Arizona has a Buckeye which was named for Ohio.

Fun puzzle even if I couldn't guess it. I make Buckeyes all the time. My grandchildren love them!
