Driving home due west on first full day of spring. The Sun is setting straight ahead lined up with the middle of the road.

I probably could have blotted more clues to make it tougher. some smart programmer should make an autoblotter. It could maximize the number of blotted clues in a puzzle so that the puzzle was still soluble.#3: valerie o..travis (bigblue) on Mar 23, 2013

Good puzzle, Brian.
Driving off into the sunset... for 12 years i traveled I-40 from Tennessee to California and back again and i did that many a time. And it can be rather hard on the eyes for those few minutes when the sun is lower than the visor but still bright enough to blind.
