My ferrets drink from a dish. It's easier for them, although I have to fill it frequently. Ouizl, my former ferret, would sometimes drop a pellet of her food into the dish, then go "scuba diving" to retrieve it. At first, I would wonder why her whole head was wet, then I figured it out. bruce, "scuba diving" fun story. definitely can't use a bowl for water with her, there's a bowl in there now that she flips around :)
