Puzzle Description:

..to spring ahead tonight :)

#1: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Mar 9, 2013

Fortunately I don't have to remember. AZ doesn't do daylight savings.

Thx for the reminder Travis, and cool puzzle.:)
#3: John Macdonald (perlwolf) on Mar 9, 2013 [SPOILER]
I like the spring. Looks like a slinky.
#4: Lollipop (lollipop) on Mar 9, 2013
I have lived with the winter blues since decades before anyone thought to put the name SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) to it. When daylight savings time comes around I feel like someone is serving me good feelings on a silver platter. I *never* forget to reset my clock in the spring.

Interesting the different attitudes. I am dreading spring. In AZ HOT HOT weather is too close behind a very short (if any) spring. :)

Interesting, true. When I was young autumn was my favourite season. Now it just augurs winter, which is too dark and wa-a-y too cold. (For me even mildly chilly is too cold.) I could easily be a uniseasonal person, as long as the season is summer. Maybe we should switch places, Norma.

My sister and I were wishing we could move to Oregon where parts don't seem to experience extremes either way. I would be as adverse to the cold as you are, Lollipop.

I've always loved autumn the most, and then spring because you can go outside with a light jacket or sweater and enjoy the fresh air. Norma is right we sometimes don't get much spring.:)

Yahoo!!! I love DST. I hate it when it gets dark at 4:30...
#10: valerie o..travis (bigblue) on Mar 9, 2013

yep, me too. 6/7 days are fast approaching.... :(
what do you do for a living, travis? until you hit the powerball, that is... ;)
#12: valerie o..travis (bigblue) on Mar 10, 2013

#13: Teresa K (fasstar) on Mar 10, 2013 [SPOILER]
Good one, Travis.

Next to my monitor there is a clock radio that has a time zone feature that automatically sets the time forward and backward for daylight savings time. This is not helpful to someone who lives in Arizona. So twice a year, I am startled to see that the time is an hour off of what I expect. So while everyone else is setting their clocks forward, I have to set mine backwards. :-)
#14: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Mar 10, 2013
I have one of those clocks that sets itself and it knows it's in AZ and I don't have to worry about DST. :)

Good puzzle, but a very serious subject.
