This was the first time I noticed a blotted clue (I'm referring to them as "obscured clues" as it sounds better). This is a very nice variant and I've proposed to Conceptis Puzzles to adopt this variant in some of their high-quality puzzles. I don't think they will, but it's nice to know I have one place to go that is bringing out neat new variants to the basic picture puzzle!

I should add that I am now seeking more of these from the library as it's a refreshing twist and does more to keep the brain sharp. =)

bryan, i'm a fan of the blots myself. i beleive blots started here around july last year. :)
