Hah, I thought you were bending a coat hanger - if you bend metal wire a number of times it gets hot.

I viewed images of old fashioned toasters on google. Very interesting. Some of the designs were really wild.

Thx Gang,it is a bent wire coat hanger,that's what we use to use when I was a kid,when the electric toaster crapped out. You just put it over the stove burner,and keep a good eye on it. I still make toast this way sometimes,especially when we go camping. I actually enjoy toast better done this way.:)

This would also work as a taco hanger. (Tho why you'd want to is another question.
