Puzzle Description:

A vase holding dead wilted flowers,sitting on a side table in a foyer. This is what happens to the flowers I give my wife,if I don't look after them for her.

I gave up on indoor houseplants. Couldn't keep them alive. My sister-in-law was one of those people who could stick a broom in the ground and it would sprout leaves.

oh.....I thought it was Mr. Deer came home from a long day of work and was wiping his hooves on the mat as he calls out to his wife, "what's for dinner, dear?"

ah...propagation! my fav class in college... always was the coolest thing to take cuttings and watch em shoot roots and become a whole new plant. or doing something like grafting apple, peach, etc onto the same plant so each branch produces a different fruit. or taking a begonia leaf, slicing the midrib and pinning it to the soil to make a new plant. amazing! who, and how they figured it all out is baffling. Norma's comment reminded me of it....

oh, btw....pour some of your molson's into the flower water. or a shot of vodka. cut flowers will stay perky for about 10 days longer before they wilt with the extra carb source
