Puzzle Description:

With each breath that I take I smell the fresh air The cold wind on my head How I wish I had hair The smell of the pines The snow and needles intertwine The scene overlooking the lake My breath it does take I know soon it will be With Niki and Destyny The nice walks we will enjoy The coming spring will be our new toy

I thought it would be Robert Frost's "I think that I will never see / A poem as lovely as a tree"
but this original poem is also great. :)

Funny, Norma!

Aldege, you are as wonderful a poet as you are an artist, and you are getting to be a really good artist here. This is so beautiful. I hope Niki enjoyed it and thanked you for it appropriately, as is fitting for a beautiful wife of an oh-so-romantic husband. :-)

Ok Ok Ok Ok...I'm a grinch. I can't see any image in this puzzle. I liked solving it...I just can't see any image.

There are three trees and a meadow and rocks or water or something in the foreground.

I know the image is a little hard to decipher JoDeen, but Kristen nailed it. I was hoping the poem would help to explain what the image is about. The bottom part is suppose to be melted snow and rock.:)

Yes, your poem mentioned the scene overlooking the lake and that's what I saw.

Just to set the record straight, "Trees" was written by Joyce Kilmer (a man), not Robert Frost.

Whoops! Chalk it up to memory laspes since 10th grade. :)

Kristen, I must admit to a tiny thrill that I caught it. I'm in awe of your vast store of knowledge.

I have a knack for remembering useless trivia, and what I don't remember I look up. This time, I thnk I made the mistake of including Frost's name as I was searching for the poem (to make sure I had the words right). :)
