#1: Tom King (sgusa) on Jan 20, 2013
Now it becomes clear. The Evil One is cheating on the Aldegians beloved Nikki with mermaids brought to him by slightly inebriated dolphins under order of General Kroc...#2: karl (keicher) on Jan 20, 2013
attaching stories to squiggly lines doesn't make for good images.#3: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Jan 21, 2013
...and you're the expert, karl? ha ha ha ha ha ha ha, etc.,etc, etc.#4: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Jan 21, 2013
Oh, oh the plot, as they say, thickens. Are you sure that's not a manatee? They were often mistaken as mermaids by lonely sailors.#5: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Jan 21, 2013
His most Imperialistic, kind hearted, and just plain wonderful,Emperor Aldège has not cheated on his beloved yet. He is merely pondering his options and trying to deal with the obvious fact that he will probably never leave this Island, and never see the lovely Niki again. He must think about populating this Island and bringing his new Kingdom to fruition. Besides...that mermaid looks hot.:)#6: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Jan 21, 2013
No Norma,Aldège is not sure of anything, all he knows is that he has been without his family, and he wants to go home. Oh and that mermaid or manatee whichever looks hot,lol.:)#7: Kurt Kowalczyk (bahabro) on Jan 22, 2013 [SPOILER]

Thx Kurt, wow we sure got Kurt excited, lol. Maybe you would like to change places with the Emperor.:)#9: Al LaPointe (kancamagus) on Jan 25, 2013
Norma, was the derision really necessary? karl expressed an opinion that differs from yours. Why the attitude?#10: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Jan 25, 2013
Al Lapoint, apparently you haven't been following all the comments that Karl has made recently. He made remarks that were off color, insulting, and very inappropriate. Also, he has not posted a single puzzle, which until a person has created several puzzles, they can't possible understand the intricacies involved and should refrain from harsh criticism. For small grids a lot is left to the imagination as small detail just isn't possible.#11: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Jan 26, 2013
Al,why did karl have to say what he said. If he doesn't care for the puzzle all he had to do is keep his comment to himself. Other people are having fun with this series wether it's lame or not. I'm making these puzzles with that intention in mind. Fun and the best solve possible in a B&W small grid are the priority here, image quality is quite frankly secondary. Anyone following this story line is aware of this. I've learned to handle karl's rudeness and Norma is just standing up for a friend. Karl has gone as far as insulting my one and a half year old daughter, and that is not acceptable to me and a lot of other people here on WEBPBN. It's time karl got a life and learn to be a civilized human being.Rudeness is not necessary.:)#12: Al LaPointe (kancamagus) on Jan 28, 2013
my bad, i didn't realize there was a back story. i hope i didn't violate any social norms. heading back to my shell...#13: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Jan 28, 2013
No harm done Al.:)#14: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Jan 28, 2013
It seemed you were unaware of what went before, but your intentions were very good. Please come back out of your shell. I'm sorry if I sounded a bit harsh, but karl had made remarks that were out of line, and even his remark here was meant to be sarcastic and hurtful.#15: Gator (gator) on Jun 14, 2013
Another great solve.#16: RB (rb2013) on Jul 1, 2018 [HINT]
