Great puzzle. Those covered wagons were not very roomy. I guess only the smallest of children got to ride in the wagon as the inside was packed with all their belongings and not much room for people.

They walked most of the way. Fun puzzle, Aldege!

Thx Norma and Tom,I'm just amazed at how my two boys can whine and complain about being bored. The scenery is so beautiful, whatever happened to looking out the window?,and if anyone had a right to complain,it was poor Destyny, but she only got cranky when she got hungry, and was fine after being fed. Can everyone say "SPOILED",lol.

Forgot to say... fun solve!

Thx Teresa,I really meant that the boys are spoiled brats that are never pleased with anything. Destyny is spoiled with love and attention, but if she gets a little cranky it's understandable. We give her a snack and put her favourite cd on and then she's happy again. Being strapped up in a car seat for long periods of time can't be much fun. That's why when we would stop to change her diaper and grab a coffee,I would walk around the Tim Horton's with her so she could get some physical activity. I don't know about that computer game, but it sounds real cool,I'll check it out, thx.:)

No Iphones, No dvds, then you have to look out of the window and dream!
#12: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Jan 2, 2013
I totally agree Jota,I wish I could throw them out. I meant the kids, but the I-phones and dvd's can go to.lol.:)
#13: Tom O'Connell (sensei69) on Jan 3, 2013
you are correct K... back when i was tiny parents use to give it to their kids on nights they were sick and very restless. It was an over-the-counter syrup.

Whenever my family was about to start a road trip, my brother and I got new books to read, with the caveat that we couldn't open them until the trip started. That kept me busy for hours!

We use to give the boys books to read and they use to love it,but now for some reason they don't like reading anymore. Gee I wonder why?:)

A fun solve with a clear image. The question was probably asked by our forefathers about the people that came over on the Mayflower.

I wonder whether there was a Wild West version of I Spy. "I Spy, with my little eye, something green." "It's grass, Obadiah."
#18: David Bouldin (dbouldin) on May 21, 2020
"I spy with my little eye, something lily-livered-yella!"
