quick quiz: when do the 12 days of Christmas start?

A: Christmas is day 1, extending to the Epiphany on Jan 6th... Before a council, xmas was actually celebrated on Jan 6. To this day, the Orthodox's (Russians,etc) celebrate Christmas on Jan 7....

Thanks, Kurt. And Christ was not born on Dec. 25th. Most feel he was born probably in September as it would have been much to cold for Mary and Joseph and and everybody else to be traveling in Dec.

I hate taking them down and putting them away.:)
