Puzzle Description:

Our little fluffy black cat often walks me to the mail box which is in one of those modular set ups about a block and 1/2 away. She has a ball. She runs ahead, then waits for me, then stops to snoop and then run to catch up with me. She's such a delight.

Is she the same one that steals socks from the neighbors?

Yep. I don't know whether it's because our neighbors prefer black socks or whether she prefers black, but she's been bringing home black socks lately.

She's either getting more stylish, or she's going through a Goth phase. (Or emo or beatnik, depending on your generation :)

nice, Norma...bet she's a handful! Luv that you let her out and trust her to hang with you for a walk...a nice bond you must have with good ol MJ! :)

I've got a black cat at work...named Spook, but we call him Pooksie. he loves to catch birds or mice and bring them back to you before he chows down. what a showoff!

"we" and "our"...not my business, but who you rooming with?

I live in a mobile home park, so the traffic is light and slow. She is very aware of cars and runs and hides when she hears one. I have two grandsons staying here right now and Mary Jane actually belongs to one of them. Cats love to bring you "presents" or just show off as you say. That's probably why Mary Jane brings socks as there doesn't seem to be any mice and the birds are too high up in the trees.

Thanks, Aldege. It makes an ordinary walk special.
