whew! had a lil much to drink at darts last night.... a guy on the team is in the hospital and needs open-heart surgery. bummer. and my lil pea-brain keeps going back to what happened a year ago. I guess when you bury something, it'll keep coming back to haunt you til you deal with it properly. enough about all that....I hope everyone has a blessed holiday season!

Great line logic puzzle! I cannot comprehend a difficulty of 1 though...

it's some sort of glitch, Mr Schlageter...view info. it's not correct, for whatever reason. you'll see why if you check. it was that way the day of publishing....I have doubts that there were millions of solvers on day 1...lol

I found this puzzle because of another puzzle that was affected by the ancient "sixteen million people rated this puzzle easy" bug.

I think I can go into the database and fix this: There is an old ratings system and a new one, and the bug is a giant inflation of the old-style rating. So I could blank out the old-style ratings and leave the puzzle with only its new-style rating, and that should be pretty close to its true rating. Should I?

Difficulty ratings did not work the way I thought they did, but people's ratings are stored in the database, and I was able to recompute the difficulty score for this puzzle and fix it.
