I know a lot of people don't like the extra color, but sometimes a little bit can make for a better image. this one was even simpler to solve without it than with it, so it was a no-brainer to add. I've been trying to get better using that sort of method without using too much, but it's a work in progress... I esp like how the queen turned out by adding a few well-placed dots in a diff puzzle, even though it wasn't rated too well. not much you can do to make a chess piece good. lol

Must not be a lot of chess players out there. I saw the queen right away and thought it was great.

Nice little Grey(or perhaps a Blue?). I tried to do a puzzle about a year ago, of a nose turned upside-down, which looks remarkably like an alien head, with the nostrils for eyes, but I couldn't get it to look right.

I like Norma's comment, too. Stargate fans unite!

Fantastic! I like the shading on this one. And I liked the queen puzzle just the way it was.
