A lot of people prefer college football because the teams' rosters are static for a longer period of time and you get to know the players as a team, while the pros do so much trading that what was your "team" last year is practically non existent this year. I disagree with your premise, Norma. College players have 4 years. Most don't play as Freshman or Sophomores. Effectively giving two years of play to the college. The roster turns over constantly.
