Heck that was nothing,there was more violence at the Palace Arena.First a bruhaha broke out at the bingo game because some woman spilled her mint tea and ruined another woman's cards and dopper.Then a fight started on the rink when a teenage couple crashed into a nice woman who was performing a dance routine."..Momma,were you the woman involved in both cases?..Me,c-mon Guy,do I look like the violent type?"..No momma,you certainly don't. Anyway,thank you for all your help momma..Do I pay the remainder of your fee to you Guy or momma?..Pay it to Guy,Neil, I'm just happy for the excitement. I didn't want to spend another night playing go fish with Carl. I love that boy,but he is so boring."..Gee momma,that's an awfully short skirt your wearing,I'm sorry for staring,but you have great gams for a woman your age.." Don't be sorry Neil,and thank you. Yes I'm wearing this skirt to torture my husband. I'm going home tonight,and he'll be anxious to see me,but I like to see him squirm a bit before I give him what he wants."..Your amazing momma,and you make the best chicken gumbo too.." Thanks Guy,now eat up boys,your gumbo is getting cold."

What a series. Great fun, Aldege. Loved the puzzle. (I see that guy with the goatee is still hanging around.):)

Thx Norma,yeah that bonehead is still hanging around. I really enjoyed making this series,even though I was put to the challenge by John when he figured out my initial storyline,lol. That just made it more challenging and forced the creative juices to flow. I'm sure you as a series creator know how challenging and hard it can be to get ideas,and then put them to canvas,and then to come up with a storyline that sort of makes sense and try to throw some humour in there too,lol. Getting comments from you and all our other friends here makes it all worthwhile. Keep up the great work Norma,I really enjoy your puzzles.:)

What are "cards and dopper"?

Cards are the bingo cards and the dopper is what you use to mark your card with when they call your numbers. They don't use bingo markers anymore.

Got it! Daubers, because you daub the ink onto the card. I'm familiar with the term because we have dirt daubers hereabouts. (They're in the wasp family, and make homes out of mud)

You get an excellent rating because of the excellent story! It's easy to see the picture for a 30x30, which is definitely an accomplishment, given the detail you were aiming for!
