Blotted clues changed by khpdave#2: Dave Oas (khpdave) on Nov 23, 2012
If you started solving before I re-added the blots, I apologize (way too easy without them).#3: Kurt Kowalczyk (bahabro) on Nov 23, 2012
the site is extremely slow today...timed out before saving, so I didn't get to see any description. Happy Friday to ya!#4: Tom O'Connell (sensei69) on Nov 23, 2012
very slow with time outs#5: Dave Oas (khpdave) on Nov 23, 2012
thx for puzzle Dave
Thought my computer was gunked up - Glad to know the hangups aren't on my end this time.#6: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Nov 23, 2012
Fun. I'm glad I'm not the only one frustrated by the timed outs, errors, etc., etc.#7: Tom King (sgusa) on Nov 23, 2012

How do you find all of these past puzzles, Adam? I gotta admit it though, I like 775 better than mine - Thanks.#10: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Nov 23, 2012
I was not suggesting now (nor do I rarely ever) that they are better or worse, merely similar based on the theme.#11: Kurt Kowalczyk (bahabro) on Nov 24, 2012
rarely, and it's more often with a "?" than words#12: Dave Oas (khpdave) on Nov 24, 2012
I didn't think you were critiquing, Adam - I really do like the image and play of 775 better than mine however I like mine a little more than 10250.#13: Adam Nielson (monkeyboy) on Nov 24, 2012
I'm amazed at how you're able to index 20,000 puzzles and come up with similar themes. I've tried searching by title but that rarely gives the actual theme or image.
I appreciate your comments Adam - all of them. Thanks!
Kurt, I'll start looking a little closer for those "?"s.
:-)#14: Kurt Kowalczyk (bahabro) on Nov 24, 2012
he's been cataloging for a long time on his own...you're not gonna find in a search. I'm glad he does..... just a guess, ofc, but only one person would know. and I'm sure he'll correct me if the guess is wrong.#15: Kristen Vognild (Kristen) on Nov 24, 2012
yeah, you'll find "?"'s to those that are crappy, and barely can be considered the same theme. pay attention
He's never said one way or another, but I think an eidetic memory is involved. I can remember images that I've solved, but unless I can remember the title as well I have a hard time finding the puzzle I want.#16: Kurt Kowalczyk (bahabro) on Nov 24, 2012
Kris, it's nice that you even know what an eidetic memory is.... I have one, though I'd never brag on it cuz it's not something I did. I can't even remember all that. you know the rest. I have no doubt Adam is as sharp as a tack, and even an IQ well into genius range. forget eidetic memory though... it involves pen to paper and cataloging#17: Kurt Kowalczyk (bahabro) on Nov 24, 2012
honestly, the more you know, the more you have to remember when you first learned it. too many facts can get in the way... you remember even one part of one thing specifically, you can play it back and forth like a tape. but more often than not, facts roll out with little recollection unless you're forced to take the time. all in all, just be you. it doesn't make sense to say, but the more you know, the more confused you get. even an eidetic memory takes practice.#18: Kristen Vognild (Kristen) on Nov 24, 2012
If you'd asked me 10 years ago I would've called it a photographic memory. I've been corrected enough since then to call it by a different name. :)#19: Kurt Kowalczyk (bahabro) on Nov 24, 2012
good good. what you said doesn't exist.#20: Jota (jota) on Nov 25, 2012
still, I wouldn't press, even if the man has it. hope you have a great holiday season, K! absolutely funny road rage clip!!
Cool Dave!#21: Carol Brand (KarylAnn) on Nov 29, 2012
