A neat misspelling. I found this to be an interesting and tricky solve with all the edge logic, and I liked the final image, too.

I went to the bottom row and bottom right corner and also covered column 1. Since C2R7 is a black square, the 4 in column 1 can only touch one link of 1's. That narrows things down a lot.

From there, I think I used column 3 (placing the 4) and 5 (the 2/1) and eventually the 6 in column 8 (R12 being black got a contradiction) led to line logic the rest of the way.

I'd like to lobby for Deep lookahead. That puzzle took work!!
