I was expecting an eagle, but I suppose you aren't an American and you don't feel the same way about eagles. :)

Nice solve!#8: Andrew Schultz (blurglecruncheon) on May 29, 2022 [HINT]
A neat misspelling. I found this to be an interesting and tricky solve with all the edge logic, and I liked the final image, too.#9: Web Paint-By-Number Robot (webpbn) on May 29, 2022
I went to the bottom row and bottom right corner and also covered column 1. Since C2R7 is a black square, the 4 in column 1 can only touch one link of 1's. That narrows things down a lot.
From there, I think I used column 3 (placing the 4) and 5 (the 2/1) and eventually the 6 in column 8 (R12 being black got a contradiction) led to line logic the rest of the way.
Found to be solvable with moderate lookahead by blurglecruncheon.#10: Valerie Mates (valerie) on May 30, 2022 [HINT]
I'd like to lobby for Deep lookahead. That puzzle took work!!
