reminds me of the one my Busha(grandma, for us Pollocks) had......except it was a black cat. the eyes and tail moved. I wonder what happened to that thing?

another word the same in Polish as Russian, in case K heard it from her relative. Babushka is the same word in both languages. I still can't believe she did 7! the cool thing about it, is it's the same 7 as me. I'm not good at any, forgot more than I ever knew....still, a very cool coincidence

Babushka is a good word, too. :)
I'd thought that Bubala was another Russian word, but turns out it's Yiddish. I've been calling my son that, and he doesn't really appreciate it. :)
