Puzzle Description:

Come saturday,I decided to call Gusepi to see if Francis was back. He said he was,but was asleep,still tired from his trip. He said to come around 3 in the afternoon. I mentioned that my car had been stolen,hoping he would offer to pick me up,to which the offer was not forth coming. I decided to spring for a cab. When i arrived,Francis greeted me at the door. He looked,um,well,um,beautiful I guess you would say. He was wearing makeup,and lipstick,and he had a relaxed,happy look about him."Thanks so much for coming Mr. Noir."..My pleasure Francis,I must say,and please don't get the wrong idea,but you look gorgeous.." Ha,ha,that's funny Mr. Noir. I doubt were each others type,but thank you for the compliment,and I can't thank you enough for the advice you gave me. Everything worked out just great,and I'm so happy. The reason I wanted you to come here is because I have something i'd like to show you. Follow me please."..He led me down this long hallway,to a door,that led to a staircase,that ended at the entrance to an elevator. We went up 3 floors and the elevator doors opened,and there she was,my beloved Dodge Diplomat...What the..."Surprise"...Gusepi,Florentina,andIgor all shouted.."We wanted to express our appreciation to you Guy by overhauling your car,and we want you to have this original Francis Barabichi leather coat."..I was stunned,the coat was beautiful,and my car no longer had plaid upholstery. It was now clad in the finest corinthian leather known to man,and all the mechanicals had been gone over so that old reliable truly was reliable. The paint was redone and it shone as if it was hand rubbed with Mazola..." I hope you like it Guy."..Like it,I'm flabbergasted,it's gorgeous. Tha,thank you..." It's our pleasure,we appreciate the way you handled our case. You were not judgemental about me or my father. Your a very nice man Mr. Noir." I guess being a nice "Guy" private eye has it's benefits. Now if I could only get a decent girlfriend,and an edible meal,I'll be a happy man...The End...thankfully.

Wow, I would never have thought of Dodge Diplomat as being something you'd want to refurbish, but it sound like Guy is a happy guy! In fact , I probably hadn't heard mention of this model for a really long time.

And surf and turf is what I'm having for dinner in a little while, celebrating the first anniversary of buying this house by Lake Ontario!

Very cool Joel,happy house anniversary,hope you enjoy your surf & turf. I'm not sure I'll do another Guy episode. I really had fun making them,it allowed me to use my imagination. Although they follow a certain theme,that most gumshoe stories share,these stories were from my imagination,and i wrote them as I went along from puzzle to puzzle,never really knowing where the story would end up. I'm not sure too many people enjoyed them. I'll think about another one,maybe plan it out a little,lol.:)
