Puzzle Description:

The flag of Nepal, probably the most atypical flag in the world. The red is said to represent hinduism and the blue buddhism, Nepal being the birthplace of the historical Buddha. The moon and sun symbols unifies two previous pennants of two rival klans from the country's 19th and 20th century Rana dynasty, borrowing a basic design stemming back more than 2.000 years. Too bad the large nations of the world rarely embrace that type of unification of old rivals.

This sure looks like the flag of Nepal to me, and NOT Tibet.

Oops, good point. Shows my comprehension of the world. Tibet is changed to Nepal.

Ditto, Aldege. I really enjoy looking and reading about them. Unfortunately they are too large for me to solve. Too much sliding up and down or back and forth and I completely loose track of where I am. But don't let that stop you from making beautiful flags.
