Puzzle Description:

Luigi (See #20053 for the start of the series, then see 20108 and 20112)

Great, great, puzzle. I don't often like faces, but I'll do one of yours anytime. I have categories of puzzles I don't like. One of these I call doughnuts, which includes a lot of faces.

Very well done!
#3: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Oct 17, 2012

#4: Wombat (wombatilim) on Oct 17, 2012 [HINT]

#8: Kristen Vognild (Kristen) on Oct 17, 2012 [SPOILER]
It does a bit. He's actually fairly unrecognizable as Eric Balfour. I just needed someone with a long face.

Looks like Mandrake the Magician
#11: Kadou (Kadou) on Oct 17, 2012 [SPOILER]
Cool idea Kristen! I thought your model was Salvador Dali. Maybe Dali looks more like Waluigi! :)
#12: Mitch Nelson (holy_mn) on Oct 17, 2012 [SPOILER]
I was thinking this one looked like Vincent Price.
#13: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on Oct 17, 2012 [SPOILER]
Wow, Eric Balfour could play a live-action Beaker.

Smile at the end.
#20: Kurt Kowalczyk (bahabro) on Oct 30, 2012
nice, K!

a comment reminded me of a stupid joke....
a horse walks into a bar...the bartender says, "hey, why such a long face?"
so dumb, but I still smiled to think of it
#21: Kristen Vognild (Kristen) on Oct 30, 2012
I like the one with the dog who limps into a bar, says " I'm looking for the man who shot my Paw."
#22: Kurt Kowalczyk (bahabro) on Oct 30, 2012
hahahha
#23: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Oct 30, 2012
Or how about the skeleton that goes into the bar and orders a beer and a mop.
#24: Lollipop (lollipop) on Oct 31, 2012
ROFL, Norma.
#25: Kurt Kowalczyk (bahabro) on Oct 31, 2012
hahahaha....good one, N!
#26: John Macdonald (perlwolf) on Oct 31, 2012
There's always the one about the man who walked into a bar. He should have ducked under it.
#27: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Oct 31, 2012
Or the magician who was walking down the street and turned into a bar.
#28: Teresa K (fasstar) on Nov 1, 2012
Too funny, Norma.

Kristen, I like this one as much as the other one.
#29: Kristen Vognild (Kristen) on Nov 2, 2012
Thanks, Teresa! I did a series of 4 :)
#30: Carol Brand (KarylAnn) on Sep 17, 2017
this puzzle came up in the featured puzzle list today, therefore, i had no idea it was a series. I have to look for the others. You captured him perfectly; as always. Unlike Norma, I do like portrait puzzles. It's interesting to watch the face unfold, as it transforms my guesses from one person to another, as the pixels fill in. At one point, before I finished his mouth, I thought he was going to be sticking his tongue out at me!
#31: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Sep 17, 2017
That's the sort of thing Salvador Dali would do, and he *does* look a bit like Dali :)
#32: Ailsa Hebert (bazette3) on Dec 30, 2020
Nice! Enjoyed the solve! Thanks
