Cute solve.

I'm working on a couple of ideas, Tom, but I guess as we all know that what you see in your mind doesn't always fit in the little squares and sometimes you keep getting the alternate solutions thingy and when you try to fix it, it doesn't look right.

Fun puzzle, Jota. The last two you have made me work.

Tom I thought of you with the 20x20 my fav.

Found to be solvable with moderate lookahead by blurglecruncheon.

Edge logic on the left, right or bottom can start things off nicely, but the left causes things to fall the easiest.

After line logic and edge logic, I also had to try placing the 2 at the top of column 19, which gets quickly to a contradiction, so the top square of column 19 has to be a dot. That got me going again.
