Puzzle Description:

My very first guitar,that my mother bought me when i was 10yrs old It was a Kay electric with twin pickups. She also bought me a small National amplifier. I wish i had them now,their worth big bucks.

just have a few simple acoustic guitars. a bently and a fender starcaster. nothing too special. and I only fiddle around. but like the fun of creating puzzles, I did write a few songs that you'll never hear(lucky you!) one is very good though, I wrote for dad when he was dying. I played it once in front of others, and they thought it was something I covered and they could look up on youtube. hahhahaha! too funny! (kept the words vague, so it might be a song to a lover)...barely picked up a guitar since then, and it's been nearly 3 years. time to get back in the groove though, I think. just hope my fingers remember how to move...

I'm not familiar with a Bently guitar Kurt,or a Fender Starcaster,unless you mean a Fender Stratocaster,or Telecaster,which are very popular guitars among most guitarist. I just saw a thing on t.v the other day about Jimi Hendricks. He was left handed,but instead of playing a left handed Stratocaster,he played a right handed one,upside down,left handed. I always thought he played a left handed one. Can you imagine learning to play that way. Pretty cool about the song you wrote for your dad. I wrote a few songs when i was young and playing in bands. Nothing great or even good. My son Brad played in bands,and recorded a cassette which i have a copy of,and play now and then. He played guitar and bass guitar.:)

I love this puzzle, didn't know what it was until I finished. My family is full of musicians, too. I never learned guitar (just piano, recorder, flute and french horn), but my brother played and my son plays now and is in a band. He just played in New York and Providence last weekend. He plays metal (I can't stand metal!! Haha). Nice to see that your first love was music!

Thx Ellen,that's super cool about your son,and that you are a musician as well Ellen. Have you had an opportunity to play music with your son?,i have and it was the best fun. Just jamming,but still great. There is no greater experience than playing before an audience,and hearing their appreciation. I'm sure your son will back me up on that.:)

My dad gave me an acoustic guitar for my sixteenth birthday. I still have it but haven't played in years (decades). Do you still play, Aldège?

No Lollipop,i haven't played in decades either. I don't even own a guitar anymore. I played bass guitar mainly,i wish i still had a bass guitar.:)

No, Al. my son and I haven't played together. I don't have a piano, but when the kids were younger we had a keyboard and we would all share playing that. My oldest daughter plays the trumpet and piano. She used to play taps for the boy scouts! She started playing in college, but because she never played symphony before they kind of outcast her. She loves jazz. I think that my son wants to "make it big".
