Very tough KRGB solve.

I remember the "datsa spicy meatball!" from my childhood, but never saw this commercial. So that's where it comes from!
Thanks.

yw Joe... i never did KRGB before.. do you do each one separately starting with Black?
#11: Kristen Vognild (Kristen) on Sep 17, 2012
I do it that way a lot more often, since I got my iPad. Sometimes I have to cheat, but it's really easy on the simpler puzzles.

For the ones with a lot of black, I try to mark all of the white dots first, so I can fill in the black with a single touch, rather than a double touch, since you can't click and drag with a touch screen.

Yes, Tom. blacK, Red, Green, Blue (and sometimes I even leave marking the white til the end). You'd be surprised that on many puzzles it's not that much harder than doing it normally. On some, however, it's really difficult.

Sometimes I finish and give it a hard rating and am surprised by the low ratings others gave it before I remember. Sometimes I even forget that I can use the other clues and get frustrated. You might not be surprised that sometimes (often) I don't see the picture for the pixels.

thx Joe, I think I understand

After most of the puzzle solves with line logic, there's just some black left. But it takes a surprising amount of advanced logic.

Edge logic on the 4 in c9 makes r10 white.

Edge logic on the 3 in r10 makes c3 white. Then LL.

Two-way logic on the 2 in r9 :
-if it is in c7-8 then c7r8 is white, making c9r8 black.
-if it is in c8-9 then c9r7-9 are black
Either way c9r8 is black.

Then LL

Then smile logic to finish.
