#2: Tom King (sgusa) on Sep 5, 2012 [HINT]
I can't solve it without guessing... I have not rated it.

Aldege, I thought you always did LLS puzzles? This isn't. If someone comes forward with a moderate lookahead, I'll follow their logic and agree.
#5: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Sep 6, 2012
Thx Travis,so were you able to solve it?,if so can you explain how?

I'm sorry Brian and Tom,i just couldn't get this one solvable by logic alone. I published it,hoping that someone would be able to solve it. I thought of using blots, but didn't know if that would be accepted for the contest.:)
#6: Tom O'Connell (sensei69) on Sep 6, 2012
Aldege: blots are always accepted unless stated otherwise.
#7: valerie o..travis (bigblue) on Sep 6, 2012
yes aldege i solved it but i would have to solve it again to see exactly how...i usually don't pay attention to how i solve, sometimes if i get stuck. i take a break and come back to it like ten minutes later and it's like how could i have not seen that next move :)
#8: Jota (jota) on Sep 6, 2012 [HINT]
This is how I did it, of course we'll need to wait for the experts but ...
the second 2 R2 and the 4 C15 gave me a few dots. EL on the 4 R1 placed three of them. Then the 4 R5 took me a bit further. Then the 2 C12 and line logic after that.
Thanks Al!

Thx Travis and Jota.:)

I guessed after awhile, but I like the image...

(btw, Jota's comment #9 needs to be marked as a hint)

Hey Joel Lynn, unless Jota and Aldege are the same person, (which wouldn't surprise me) then I think you meant "comment #8". :-)
#12: Tom King (sgusa) on Sep 6, 2012
Jota: I revisited it and the only thing I agree with is placing 3 out of 4 on the 4 in R1. I don't see anything logical about of the rest of your placements. And, I already had solved that.
#13: Jota (jota) on Sep 7, 2012 [HINT]
Tom: if you try to place the 4 C15 at R3456, the 2C3 you'll find it's impossible. That gives you 3 dots. Continue with the 2nd step, which you did and then try EL on the 4C15 (might have to look ahead a little).
#14: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on Sep 7, 2012 [HINT]
I'm stuck. Jota, I got to your edge logic on the 4 in c15 and dotted 3 dots, but after that I find no edge logic on either the 4 in c15 nor the 4 in r5. (I looked in case you misspoke.)

Sorry, Aldege, I think this is in guessing territory.
#15: Jota (jota) on Sep 7, 2012
Me bad?
#16: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Sep 8, 2012
Sorry gang.:)
#17: Joel Lynn (furface1) on Sep 8, 2012
Oh, well, Adam, the perils of scrolling...

Found to require lots of guessing by gator.
#19: Gator (gator) on Jun 1, 2017 [HINT]
Agreed it is not solvable with logic.
