Puzzle Description:

oops! I mean "prince" this time...

baby Simba

I had to deviate from the original image quite a bit to make it solve. (lost some scruff fur and shaded some areas)

This just takes a bit of edge logic. I started with the 11 on the bottom row, then after a bit of line logic, took a look at the sides. You'll need to look at the first four columns on the left to get that side started, and the last three columns on the right to get going over there. Once you have those started, though, the rest will finish with line logic.

Maybe I'll gain a convert to "thick edge logic" with this one. It starts both the ears, then after simple edge logic on the bottom row, it's LLS to finish.

On the left: You have 9 11 13 5,5, which suggests 3 rows of outline, then a break. There's a section from R6-12 with 4 3 3 3 3 3 4. Fill in the 4 clues, R6 C1-4 and R12 C1-4. Then fill in the 3 clues between those rows, from C1-3.

On the right, you have (working in) 10 12 6,4. Rows 9-15 have 3 2...2 3. Fill in the 3 clues in R9 C38-40 and R15 C38-40, then fill in the 2's in between from R10-14.

After you've placed the 11 across R40 C15-25, it solves elegantly with simple LL.

And it's still recognizable as Simba :) Check out #11838, to see how much I had to simplify a character to make it solvable. At least you didn't have to add a second color!

This was a challenging solve and a great finished image; thanks!

good representation

thanks Kristen, Minnie, Tom!

Wonderful! The edge logic was a nice challenge, and the image is really cute. Thanks for working to make it solvable. You managed to retain the integrity of the image quite well, I think.

I liked the play on word(s?). And it doesn't matter a lot that you lost some of the detail you wanted. I recognized the kid right away.

I am so glad I found this puzzle!
Thanks!
