Puzzle Description:

This is a Rose Breasted Grosbeak, well it is my best rendition. This coloring is found on the male, the female is a rather ruddy brown. The bright contrast with his black body, white specked wings, white belly and red chest is very eye catching at our feeders. He has a rather short fat beak like a finch, but I just could not seem to do it justice here. Thank you for trying to solve it!

Lovely. I could tell the species, so that's pretty good. Finch beaks are tricky to create with little squares. :)

Really nice puzzle. Fun solve and lovely image.

I remember seeing grossbeaks in the mountains of Arizona when camping at Rose Lake Canyon. Those beaks are great for catching bug bugs, or nice chunks of bread left by messy children. :-)

this is beautiful. you made it challenging to solve and so it was fun to see the image unfold. now i'll be watching to see if they migrate through Colorado.
