Puzzle Description:

Sign language for "turtle"

#1: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Aug 21, 2012

Make a fist with one hand, with your thumb pointing straight forward. Cup the other hand of the top of your fist, for the turtle's shell. Slide the top hand forward, and the turtle can hide in its shell.

Very nice. I saw a fist, but didn't know why it was there. Now I know something new. Thanks.

This is one of my favorite ASL signs :) I added a link to my first comment, so you can see better how it's supposed to look.

I just got to dc(cutiefree)'s sign language alphabet, and I thought I'd add a sign of my own.

Wow! Well designed, Kristen. I know how hard it is to make hands turn out well, especially in a small grid. Interesting too. It's always fun to learn something new. :-)
