Linda is still around sometimes Kjh and yes a lot of us miss her puzzles. There are a lot of great creators here though,so you should be able to get your fix for a long time. Keep creating yourself, cause you will surely become more proficient and have a lot of fun. Good 1st effort.:)

Not sure if all of these steps are required. Line/color logic in between.

Smile logic with the 'U' in puzzle.

Edge logic completely places the 10 clue in row 48.

Edge logic tells us that the red 7 in row 41 cannot extend to R41C22 or R41C32. So this makes R41C25 and R41C29 red. After some more line logic, smile logic to finish the red.

Edge logic with the 16 clue in row 20 makes R20C11-R20C12 dots.

Edge logic with the 9 clue in column 11 makes R21C11-R24C11 and R41C11 dots.

Edge logic with the 11 clue in column 40 makes R38C40-R42C40 dots.

Two-way logic with the 2 clue at R42C15 makes R41C12 a dot. Also edge logic with the 19 clue in row 21 makes R21C12 a dot.

Two-way logic with the 2 clue at R43C36 makes R42C32-R42C34 and R42C38 dots.

Just noticed I could have also made R20C34-R20C40 dots with edge logic. And then R21C36 can also be made a dot.

Edge logic in column 22 makes R23C22-R26 dots.

Edge logic in row 30 makes R30C14-R30C17 dots.

There are some more dots I see, but I'm going to stop here for now.

of course I gave this a "5"!!! thank you so much for asking about me. and yes, you will be wonderful at creating puzzles as this is a great first puzzle (I love the blue nose). the letters are also very well executed. aldege is also very right about the number of great puzzle creators on this site - there are plenty of them and he is one of the best. thanks again, kim!

It is an absolute honor, Linda, I did improve a bit after this attempt. It was so kind of you to go back and solve it. I wish you good health and a creative mind!

ps - I am sorry to say the blue is a tear drop because I missed your puzzles! Now, you see why it was a rather feeble first attempt! ;-)
