If you are talking about blotted puzzles I went back and counted 24. The first one which was by Jan was number 19407. If you are talking about something else I apologize for misunderstanding.#7: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Aug 9, 2012
Now there are 4 :)#8: Norma Dee (norm0908) on Aug 9, 2012
Jota was talking about entries for WCP #115. See the Honors tab at left for details.
Ah Ha. Thanks for the update.#9: Jota (jota) on Aug 9, 2012
So you guys are awake! What about competing them?#10: firefly (firefly) on Aug 10, 2012
So here seems like as good a place to ask as any: what's the deal with all the "illegal" puzzles?#11: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Aug 10, 2012
I'm sorry i've been busy around the house. I've tried making a blotted puzzle but can't seem to get it to work. Can anyone tell me how to do it please.:)#12: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Aug 10, 2012
firefly: judges are ineligible to enter the contest, so they label their puzzles "illegal" entries.#13: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Aug 10, 2012
Al: On the Create Puzzles screen, there's a new icon you can choose, by the "fill" options. It's a black square with a 2 inside. Click on that, and you can start blotting clues. You'll still need to use the checker, because a solvable puzzle can become unsolvable if you blot the wrong clue.
Thx Kristen,i've tried this but when i go to the checker am i suppose to see the blot? I don't so i figured i was screwing up somehow.:)#14: Tom O'Connell (sensei69) on Aug 10, 2012
Jota: do you enjoy being illegal?#15: Jota (jota) on Aug 10, 2012
It's fun and I don't harm anyone!#16: Jota (jota) on Aug 10, 2012
Al after you create your puzzle, you can start blotting clues (as Kristen described) by placing the blotted 2 on the clues, not the puzzle itself.#17: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Aug 12, 2012
Thx Jota, that was exactly where i was going wrong, but i finally figured it out.lol.:)#18: Teresa K (fasstar) on Aug 12, 2012
Good one, Jota. You turned a text puzzle into something interesting and a bit artistic. :-)
