Puzzle Description:

There were no screen doors on the new house, and with no central air,it was getting a bit warm. I found the sliding screen door for the kitchen entrance in the shed. The screen was all torn,so i bought some screening and repaired it and reinstalled it. I also bought 2 new screen doors for the other 2 entranceways and installed them. They worked out perfectly, and now we have great ventilation throughout the house. I may of found a new career as a door installer. I really enjoyed installing them. Now clotheslines... that's a different story.

Now that I know what you are doing, it's really great. Some of us,sadly, are still looking for something we are good at
#2: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Aug 1, 2012
Thx Norma,i'm a firm believer that everyone is good at one thing or another,it's just sometimes hard to discover where a persons talent is. A lot of people are afraid to try things, they're apprehensive because they fear failure. I'm like that with certain things and it bothers me that i'm to chicken to try. I'm also bad sometimes that i'm too persistent. I won't give up,and then I waste valuable time on a useless endeavor. I'm one of those guys who are good at a lot of things, but not great at anything. :)

I can see most of this story. Nice.
#4: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Aug 2, 2012
Thx Blackcat.:)

This time I finished your goatee before I finished your arm. I've tried to stick to the logic and avoid placing facial features where I expect them to go. :)

Another great story and picture. Are those children's faces pekking through the window, or a design on the curtains?
#6: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Aug 2, 2012 [SPOILER]
Lol,thx Kristen. Is the predictability of my goatee logic and facial feature making having an adverse effect on the solving enjoyment of my puzzles? If so,i can try to change things up a bit. I like to keep my fans happy, lol. Those faces are of Niki and Destyny observing in anticipation of yet another daddy fiasco, yet hoping for success. A successful daddy is a happy daddy. There's also a bit of look of disbelief that daddy actually seems to be doing a reasonable job. I made it so you can see a table with a lamp on it through the screen part of the door. I thought that added a nice touch to the image.

Wonderful! You are among other things, a great storyteller!
#8: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Aug 2, 2012
Jota,thank you my good friend.:)
#9: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Aug 2, 2012
There's no problem; I just think it's funny that your goatee is the last thing I solve on so many of your recent puzzles. :)

Now that I look at it again, I see it's from the outside looking in, but before I read comment #6, I thought it was from the inside looking out, and the thing seen thru the screen was a bird feeder! Nice image.

I, too, having recently moved, have small to medium projects to attempt nearly every day. Today I had a very small project of mounting a hook on the wall next to the tub/shower for hanging a towel. Two days ago, I took down a vertical blind system and mounted traverse and valance rods and curtains on the triple window in our living room. I put up all the brackets myself, just got help from hubby to hang the 10-foot long rods on the brackets. Amazingly, I didn't need to run out to the hardware store in the middle of the job to pick up some nit-noid item. I used to live almost across the street from a Home Depot, now I gotta drive 6 miles to get to the small hardware store in the nearest village if I need something.

I liked the lamp, too. And I just noticed the "pekking" typo in my first comment. Whoops! :)
#12: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Aug 3, 2012
Thx Joel,i know what you mean. Almost everytime i do a small project,i end up needing something from the hardware store. Now i have a 20 minute drive to the store now,so it's very inconvenient.:)

you're really living life, Al :)

It's interesting following your story as you get settled. It's great that you find moving an adventure and not a burden. Way to go!

Well done Aldege - the puzzle and the screen doors!
#16: Teresa K (fasstar) on Aug 9, 2012 [SPOILER]
If you did as good at installing the screen doors as you did making this puzzle, then you did fantastic! I like being able to peek into your house. You are obviously good at MANY things, and like Jota said, storytelling is one of them. :-)
#17: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Aug 16, 2012
Thx Jewel,Susan, and Teresa. This move is more of an adventure because it was to a different province, and a province that i really wanted to move to. I am thrilled with the outcome of the doors Susan, and i thought the puzzle worked out pretty good too. I have to admit,i'm a pretty good storyteller Teresa, and looking back at some of my old puzzles,i've made some pretty good ones.:)

I used to be conceited, but now I'm perfect. lol Aldege!

So the Architect in me sees this picture and immediately gets to calculating...if this drawing is to scale then you are a maximum of 5'-4" (depending on how much cropping is occurring at the bottom).
