Cool puzzle Alison, one good thing about having a hard day at work is the wonderful feeling you get when you can finally relax and de-stress. Sit down with a nice cup of tea or whatever your beverage of choice is,watch a bit of T.V.,or read a book, and get yourself ready to do it all over the next day,and the day after that.:)

Nicely designed, Allison. It's such a pretty image for such an awful feeling. I sure hope you don't feel that way too often. It does help to vent sometimes. Do you work with difficult people or have a lot of pressure? I hope you enjoy the weekend! :-)

Loads of responsibility and little support from the higher-ups...

Alison,i use to be a service manager for a printing equipment manufacturer. You take poop from above and below, and everyone depends on you. Way too much pressure for little extra pay. I decided to take my doctors advice, much to my first wife's chagrin, and i got out of it and took a job doing doing something i enjoyed. I made less money at first, but i adapted and learned how to manage my money better. I never regretted that move. Either move up to upper management and rely on others,or change occupations and save your health. Good luck.:)

Thanks for your input, Aldege. The problem is I'm doing something that I strongly believe in. I'm a therapist and oversee all the direct care at a shelter for women who have suffered domestic violence. But I will keep your advice in mind!

Thanks, everyone, I needed that!! :)

I agree it's a very worthwhile career, and i admire you for your strong belief in it Alison, but sometimes we have to think about what's good for us too,not just others. Keep in mind also Alison that if you are married and have children, you owe it to them to be happy and healthy. You won't be doing your family or the women your treating any good,if you become ill. It's very hard to keep a good balance. If you are getting a benefit from it than that's great( i mean like a feeling of satisfaction, not just monetary). Your only other options are to find ways to relieve that stress. I'm sure you'll work it out. Good luck friend.:)

Thanks for taking the time to encourage me, Aldege. I agree with you and all of your wisdom. You're so right about my home life too...my family is way too important to sacrifice. Thanks for the kind words and for calling me "friend." :)
