Puzzle Description:

#1: John Macdonald (perlwolf) on Jul 17, 2012 [SPOILER]

Is that a mirror? "Better the devil you know"
#2: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Jul 18, 2012 [SPOILER]
"Speak of the Devil!"

Luckily, since this was a Travis puzzle, I knew it would be solvable. :)
#3: valerie o..travis (bigblue) on Jul 18, 2012
you got it kristen, thank you :)
#4: Gator (gator) on Jul 18, 2012 [HINT]
After solving all of the red (and a little black), there isn't any line logic left at this point. Here are the next steps with line logic in between.

Edge logic with the 10 clue in row 1 lets you dot R1C1-R1C13 and R1C25-R1C30.

Edge logic with the 5 clue in row 25 lets you dot R25C8 and R26C10-R26C15.

Look at R20C16. Either R19C16 or R21C16 has to be black which makes either R19C15 or R21C15 black. This lets us dot most of the rest of column 15. (You can also make R21C14 a dot, but I don't think this helps.)

Internal edge logic with the 5 clue in row 22 lets us dot R22C11-R22C14 (otherwise row 21 would be invalid).

I'm going to have to stop here for now.

Good one Travis.:)
#6: Tom O'Connell (sensei69) on Jul 18, 2012
do you often do that Trav?
#7: valerie o..travis (bigblue) on Jul 18, 2012
thank you aldege :)
tom, it seems like when i talk about someone, the next thing i know is they're calling/texting/e-mailing me or standing right in front of me :)
#8: Tom O'Connell (sensei69) on Jul 18, 2012

lol

Yay! Back at webpbn for just a couple of days, and already I've solved a fairly tough question mark puzzle (what Gator said, for the solution).

My first thought was "the devil is in the details."
#11: valerie o..travis (bigblue) on Jul 19, 2012
liz, welcome back :)

Found to require some guessing by gator.
#13: Gator (gator) on Jul 23, 2012 [HINT]
I tried again on this one, but I could get to the end. Marking as guessing for now unless someone can show the way to the end.
#14: David Bouldin (dbouldin) on Jul 23, 2012 [HINT]
i think some coordinates are off in step 3 gator, but either way, my edge logic in R25 dotted C8-30 just by working it straight right to left.

anyway, pretty much stuck in same place you got to. here are a few more steps (you may have already made):

- two way on C11R11 dots C13-14R12.
- EL dots C14R11
- two way on C11R10 dots C12R13
- LL puts a dot in C12R14

...aaaaaaaand stuck.
#15: Teresa K (fasstar) on Aug 9, 2012
Great image, Travis. I got stuck too, and couldn't finish without guessing.
#16: valerie o..travis (bigblue) on Aug 10, 2012
teresa, thanks :)

#19: valerie o..travis (bigblue) on Jan 29, 2014
thanks norma, i've been meaning to fix it since it had a question mark :)
