Good for you Joel Lynn. Your husband has to learn to respect the abilities you have a bit more. I can manage most simple projects, but whenever there is something particularly complicated to do, I get my sister-in-law over to show me how to do it - she was a general renovations contractor for many years. Besides that, having grown up in a one parent household, I early on grew used to the fact that my mother was perfectly capable of doing almost any job even if she had to learn how to do it first - so I sometimes just take it for granted when my wife does something that she thinks is beyond her normal range, rather than congratulating her for doing it. (That's the opposite side of the coin from *your* husband. :-)

Thx Joel,Niki and i work pretty good together. She's extremely capable and easy to teach. She's not at all like my 2nd wife who thought she new it all,and thought she could do it better than me. Lots of times Niki has given me suggestions on how to do something that i'm struggling with,and 9 out 10 times,her suggestions end up working out better. It sounds like your very capable as well Joel,i hope your husband can learn to appreciate that quality in you. It's always better when a couple work together. You end up with great results that way.:)

I'm pretty good at "outside the box" suggestions, he admits that I help him out of jams a lot.
