Alison, this is Argentina, Andean Patagonia more precisely.

Aldege, it's OK, no more than 5 cm of snow this time. Many years ago it used to snow heavily, then much less. This one was the first snow in three years.
Anyway, while you shovel in January, I will be bathing at the Puelo Lake.

I usually just work the puzzles and read the comments, but this time I was just blown away by the fact the we solvers are so far flung. Wow. Impressive. I'm from Phoenix, AZ..Hot! Hot! Hot!

Wow Niki would die in that heat. Sorry gang but here in Odell,New Brunswick,Canada the highest it's been is around 80F,but we've had a lot of rain,and the bugs are brutal.:)

Hey Norma,i think it's so cool to be able to converse through puzzles to people from all over the world. I've made some great friends from many parts of the world since i've joined WEBPBN,and my daughter Destyny has gained a bunch of aunts and uncles through it. WEBPBN is the best thing ever.:)

I'm from Iowa and it has been 99 degrees Fahrenheit every day (+ or- 1 degree)...for the past week or so.

It's only dry here sometimes, Kristen. Right now we are getting the humidity with the heat as we enter monsoon season. At least once it rains, things cool down a little. Like it did here on the 4th of July. That was sooooo nice.

It's really humid here, too. The heat would be so much more bearable if we didn't have the humidity!

Norma, it's true, that is why I love this site! I only hope I could express myself better in English.
Skippy, it sounds like Buenos Aires' summer. I left the city 20 years ago because I couldn't bear the 40ºC (105ºF) days, with 30ºC (86ºF) nights and very hight humidity.
As they say in Buenos Aires "It's the humidity that kills you" ("lo que mata es la humedad" - sounds more funny in Spanish)

That's funny, Claudia. :) Thanks for the Spanish....I'm acctually studying it right now! I got to go to Puerto Rico last March on a missions trip. Fun!

Here in Calgary, Canada it's a very pleasant 70. I love the fact that we solvers are from all over. It's a small world! Thanks for the puzzle Claudia.
