Seriously though, I do not know anything about what it is.
Sure, it looks like some form of a mask/face at first, but if I explore the thought further... "Apocalypse"... makes me first think of nuclear fall-out (not that it has to; it just does), which in turn makes me visualize a mushroom cloud... and then -- well, there you have it, it's actually an inverse silhouette of two long-stemmed mushrooms growing out of the ground. I cannot not see two mushrooms now. :)
