Interesting. I thought it was going to be a brain MRI at first.

I used edge logic, first on the rightmost 6 in R1, then the left 6. Later on I was able to place the 7 and 6 in R28.

If that still doesn't help, the upper right 6 is placed around the 1s in R1, C24-26.

Found to require some guessing by gator.

I couldn't get to a solution without looking more than 2 moves ahead.

I don’t understand the guessing notation. The pattern for the outside of the puzzle is clear looking at the clues. Once the outside is done, the rest is quite easy. Anyway, I enjoyed this puzzle. Thank you.

This puzzle was created before Deep Lookahead was implemented. And you do need to look ahead several steps, to place the clues I'd mentioned in comment #1.

Found to be solvable with deep lookahead by kristen.
