I am so happy to see you back! I have to go back now and solve 18815. Looks painful :(
#3: Linda Martin (ilovethispuzzle123) on Sep 13, 2013
hi susan! yes, it was a whole new kind of painful.
#4: Claudia (clau_bolson) on Sep 13, 2013
Linda! Welcome back! I was so worried after you disappeared!
#5: Kristen Vognild (Kristen) on Sep 14, 2013 [SPOILER]
Yikes! That looks terrible. I'm going to guess shingles, but I'll wait until the next puzzle to find out. :)

This reminds of the time (2003) when I was taking a daily injection of Copaxone (for multiple sclerosis). Most days, there would just be a bit of swelling around the injection site, but some days my entire belly or thigh would be covered in hives.

Oh, and you did an amazing job of showing your shirt lifted up to reveal your sad, rash-covered belly.

hi Claudia - I needed to "turtle" for a while, which I will explain in subsequent puzzles. thank you for the welcome back! :-)

hi Kristen - you're still making wonderful puzzles! i'm sorry you had to deal with the hives from the injection. hives are no fun, which through suffering, I found out I was allergic to cats. thanks for the kudos.
#7: Kristen Vognild (Kristen) on Sep 14, 2013
Oh no! That's even worse!

My mom is allergic to cats, but we've always had them (she and my dad have 2 right now). She keeps them out of her bedroom, and that helps a lot.

Linda, I am so glad you are back! I have really missed you and your wonderful puzzles, including this one.
#9: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Sep 14, 2013 [SPOILER]
This looks like what Niki was going thru with P.U.P.P.P.S.(Pruritic Urticarial Papules and Plaques of Pregnancy)which was all over her body and was incredibly itchy. Her scratching kept me awake at night. Great image Linda and welcome back.:)
#10: Linda Martin (ilovethispuzzle123) on Sep 14, 2013
thank you synthia and aldege :-)

aldege - is there really something called puppps?
#11: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Sep 14, 2013
Apparently so Linda, this is my wife's sixth baby and it's the first time she's heard of it,but the obstetrician prescribed a cream for it and it finally went away.
#12: Jane Butcher (jane-o) on Sep 14, 2013
Are you a cartoonist? You certainly could be. This would not be an easy subject to do well. Great job. I hope you are pain free now.
#13: Linda Martin (ilovethispuzzle123) on Sep 15, 2013
wow, aldege, I had never heard of that before. what an acronym. "puppps" sounds innocuous, but the description says it all. poor niki!
