I did as Gitte did, and didn't consider it guessing. And I agree with Mercy about the if/then/then/then approach NOT being guessing but logic. Perhaps we have stumbled across a basic gender difference in perceived logic. Maybe this could lead to world peace. And Mercy could be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. She'd save on air fare.
