Puzzle Description:

Clarus the dogcow -- This icon was created as part of the Cairo font for the first Macintosh. Even once the font was retired, Clarus stayed in the OS for a long time to assist with page orientation for PostScript printers.

I have never used a Mac so maybe that is why I have never heard of Clarus but he/she is cute

All dogcows are female. A male dogcow would be called a dogbull, and that would just be confusing. ;)
