I'm pretty sure I have read that scientists are hoping to recreate the woolly mammoth. I don't understand the science, but it has something to do with elephants and mammoth DNA recovered from the permafrost. If they succeed does that mean we would have heaven on earth?
#7: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Apr 17, 2012
That would be pretty sweet to see mammoths roaming the frozen north. But they'd still get into fights with the re-engineered sabretooth tigers. Not very peaceable. :)

Very nice Dodo, Kristen.

Here's the Dodo's favorite part of heaven:

It's name may have derived from the word dodaars, which means Fat Ass. :-D
#10: Tom O'Connell (sensei69) on Apr 17, 2012

There is a terrific series of books by Jasper Fforde featuring Tuesday Next, a "Literary Detective" who works in Bookworld, who has a pet dodo.

These are some of the best books I've ever read, with hilarious humor, incredibly imaginative plots, characters, and villains.

Read one, and you will be hooked.
