That's a lightbulb by the way, lol. My great idea was to find a way that I could get a bigger and better house for my growing family. My problem was, that I couldn't afford a bigger house, and soon I wouldn't be able to afford the house i was living in. Because I'm on a disability pension,i could only qualify for a mortgage that was lower than the mortgage i currently have. Turns out,I could buy a house in Eastern Canada, that is twice as big as my current house, and 3 times nicer, and is situated on 1.5 acres of land. It is heated with wood so i get the wonderful smell and ambience of fireplaces, has a well and septic system,so i don't have to pay for my water, and the taxes are very low,and here's the kicker,my monthly mortgage payment is 1/4 of what i was paying. Were moving to New Brunswick folks, and thrilled about it. I've wanted to live there for 38 yrs now,and my wish is coming true. Hope i don't regret it,lol.:)

Great news, and great lightbulb!
#10: Teresa K (fasstar) on Apr 11, 2012 [SPOILER]
Love the light bulb - fun solve!

Congratulations on the big move. Once you are there, your son will love to explore his new environment, and will be making new friends in no time. Of course, you already know that, but he probably doesn't want to listen to you right now. :-)

Thx Blackcat, but it really wasn't all that ingenious. I fell in love with the Atlantic provinces, and Quebec, right from the first time i visited that part of Canada.I also always wanted to live in the country, instead of the city. I remembered from then, picking up a real estate magazine and seeing how inexpensive beautiful homes were down there. I promised myself i would live there someday, and thanks to Niki's encouragement, and desire to move there,it made it easy to check online at properties, and low and behold, the prices haven't really escalated much.:)

Thx Teresa, your right he will quickly adapt when we pitch our tents and have our first campfire in our new large backyard. There's a stream at the back of our property where the boys can do some exploring and maybe even catch some fish. It's quite the adventure for all of us.:)
#13: Nancy (nbarsi) on Apr 12, 2012 [SPOILER]
I am thrilled for you all, I live in the same environment and have never felt a moments regret. Fantastic Aldege!
#14: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Apr 12, 2012
Thx Nancy.:)
#15: JoDeen Mozena (ozymoe) on Apr 12, 2012 [SPOILER]
I love the solve...the image is great...and I love the idea behind the puzzle. You and your wife have a great deal of work ahead of you both, getting ready to move...and keeping it positive for everyone in the family. How old is your oldest son?

One big word of caution...if you're on a septic tank, be SURE to feed it the recommended amount of enzymes (the natural way is best I think, but you may decide differently)...look into this extensively if you have never done this before. It is not difficult, and not too expensive, although it is an expense...just be sure you are a good steward of the septic tank and you'll continue to reap the rewards of country living!

looking forward to hearing about the adventures of your big move!
#16: Tripper (TripperCR) on Apr 12, 2012
Congratulations! Does sound like a great and beautiful idea!
#17: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Apr 12, 2012
Thx JoDeen, our oldest son is 9yrs old. Thx for the tip on enzymes,i will look into it. I will try to continue making puzzles about our great adventure as we go along, thx for the interest.:)
#18: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Apr 12, 2012
Thx Tripper,it does sound like a great idea and i can't think of a real negative aspect to this move. Even the cold weather and threat of snow, does not seem to bother any of us.:)
#19: Joel Lynn (furface1) on Apr 12, 2012
Good luck with your move, Aldege. I've wanted a house on the waterfront for many years, and we've got one now, will be there full time in a couple of months. Your kids will find lots of new adventures in NB!
#20: JoDeen Mozena (ozymoe) on Apr 12, 2012 [SPOILER]
9 years old isn't a critical age...but make sure he has access to new kids before he goes to school if you can arrange it...helps...
#21: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Apr 12, 2012
Thx Joel,we plan on doing lots of sight seeing,i'm sure the boys will love it.:)
#22: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Apr 12, 2012
