Puzzle Description:

This is a Divco milk delivery truck. Divco was the name of the manufacturer of the vehicle. The white B in the blacked out grill stands for Bordens which was the company that produced the milk and delivered it to your house. Two of these trucks recently sold at auction for $65,000,and $80,000.

The Borden trucks were yellow, and their mascot was Elsie the talking cow. Moooo! Omg, Aldège, these are memories that without you would have been gone forever. Or should have been ...

Thx Lollipop, obviously i couldn't get the colours right, but i did forget what the Borden colours were. Lollipop,is it not fun to bring all these memories back? I don't exactly live in the past, but i do think we got by pretty good in those days without all the hi-tech gadgetry that we seem to need now. Technology does make things easier, but easier doesn't always mean better. Of course, the field of medicine and saving lives is the exception. I'm mainly talking about frivolous things.:)

Fun puzzle, Aldege.

Lollipop, I remember Elsie! I remember riding in the car past the dairy farm on the outskirts of town. I always wondered what milk tasted like right from the cow before it gets processed and bottled. Maybe someday I'll find out. I loved licking the thick film of cream off the little cardboard tab under the lid. Mmmmmmmm.

If memory serves it was a Wisconsin based dairy and it's entire name was Hawthorne-Melody. It was 40 + yrs ago so.... I am pretty sure the spelling could be off.

#22: Aldege Cholette (aldege) on Apr 14, 2012
We have a place near us in Fort Erie called Green Acres,it would be hard to beat their roast beef sandwiches. They must be at least 6in. tall. I order a second bun,and make 2 big sandwiches out of it.:)
