Stars and stripes

This seemed pretty easy to me. After I placed 2/3 of the 1 clues along the edges, it was easy to deduce that they would be diagonal stripes behind the stars. I'm not sure if guessing is involved or not. What did the checker say, Beth?#2: Beth Briggs (YodaTrophy) on Mar 12, 2012

Interesting puzzle. Advanced color logic let me solve all the black squares, but after that I was left with only 1s all over the puzzle. Educated guessing based on pattern recognition is required at that point.
It is a pretty pattern when it is complete.
