I realized after starting this series backwards (as I generally do, devolving in David's evolution series), that this is a planned takeover of the world by Aldege. I believe he has a country, militia, flag, Mt.Rushmore-Chollette, and a torture device powered by 1960s muscle cars. He has brainwashed Brian into thinking a scooter belongs in his tools. His daughter is his wingman. Niki knows little about this, but enjoys wearing shades on their private inflatable island disguised as a can of bondo. Aldege, I am onto you and your plot.
