What is that in the upper right corner? MS?#5: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on Mar 1, 2012 [SPOILER]
I'm "sure" that must be a trailer from MS Carrier driving by. When we first saw one of these trailers( http://images.google.com/images?q=MS+Carriers ), my wife was flirting with a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis, so it was a bit depressing to see. But when my daughter in the back seat saw it her eyes opened wide and she said "a mobile suit carrier!?!" ( http://images.google.com/images?q=mobile+suit ).#6: Shihab Al-Abed (shihabalabed) on Mar 1, 2012
Well those letters are the initials of my name and my wife's.. I am Shihab and she is Muna ;)#7: Kristen Vognild (kristen) on Mar 1, 2012 [SPOILER]
I was diagnosed with MS in 2002. My case isn't typical, but I had symptoms for about 3 months, and it's been in submission ever since, except for very mild relapses every few years. Last year my left ear went numb for about a week.#8: Brian Bellis (mootpoint) on Mar 1, 2012
I took Copaxone the first year, and it was no worse than taking a shot of insulin.
My home state at the time was Mississippi (MS), and my last college dorm was Moody-Shearn (MS). Both took on a new meaning after my dx.
Kristen; So sorry that you have had to deal with MS for the last 10yrs. Stay strong sister.#9: Kristen Vognild (Kristen) on Mar 1, 2012
Thanks, Brian! Most of the time, I forget I even have it.#10: Joe (infrapinklizzard) on Mar 2, 2012
Kristen, the good news is, the slower the start, the slower the progression. Knowing what it is also gets rid of the stress of *not* knowing, and stress is your enemy.
