Great picture! I enjoyed it.#2: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Nov 10, 2007
The name is a bit weird, though. The title should be "Akai Hana" (red flower), and don't name her.
It wasn't her name..she has red flowers in her hair & I got the Japanese name off the internet so if it's wrong I'm sorry about that.#3: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Nov 10, 2007
Kaoru, I forgot to say, Thank you for the information, I love learning new things (guess your never to old)#4: BlackCat (BlackCat) on Mar 16, 2009
My son has always had a great interest in learning the Japanese language & culture (I should have asked him) when he was 3 years old he was writing & speaking the Japanese alphabet) Whenever he sends me a note he always writes "I Love you" in Japanese.
What a beautiful image. I seldom do tall puzzles because of having to move the screen up and down. I am glad I tried this one.#5: Nancy Snyder (naneki) on Mar 19, 2009
thank you :)#6: Mark (mark.jeronimus) on Oct 5, 2010
Akako is a given name in Japan and literally means red-child, although the character for child (ko) is very often used as the last character in girl's names, so it doesn't actually mean a lot. Just red is aka in Japanese.#7: jewel crown (jewel) on Mar 26, 2011
I love this picture! It's very beautiful.Thanks Nancy!#8: Byrdie (byrdie) on Mar 19, 2017
This is a beautiful image. A real pleasurable result for the fiddling involved in the solve due to the size.#9: Julio Parra (Julio Parra) on Apr 7, 2019
